Insanity personified
This weekend could be summed up in one word - insane. In a nutshell, I drove 1000 miles, clubbed until I dropped, went three days without any sleep, replaced just about all my blood with alcohol, and had more fun than I have since I was in college. My weekend started right after work Friday when I took a little trip to Albany to go clubbing with my friend Jill and three of her friends. I forgot how much fun clubbing is - especially when you're with a group of friends. We spent hours just drinking and dancing up a storm. I had the distinct pleasure of spending the evening with the four sexiest girls in the place - I couldn't even begin to describe all the dirty looks I got from other guys. Nice. :-)
Back on the road the next day and off to Syracuse to spend some time with Autumn. We ended up hanging out with her friend Patrick and her sister April. I haven't really talked to April since '99 or '00, and I forgot how much fun she could be. I hope I get the chance to hang out with her again. Actually, the group dynamic of the 4 of us was pretty sweet - seemed like no matter what the topic of conversation all four of us was willing to dive in head first. Lots of fun. Oh, and so was watching the anime porn flick. Not to mention all the alcohol - who would've though those twisted teas could pack such a punch!?!
Sunday morning I had to be up at the crack of dawn to ref a few hockey games and finally able to get some shut eye... but not much. And Monday, after work, I got to go out to dinner with Autumn again. We went out for Japanese - the food was good, but the company and conversation were incredible as usual. We made tentative plans to do something today, and I'm looking forward to whatever it is we end up doing.
