Today (very early this morning local time) our home crossed that imaginary line that divides the light from the dark and the sun was reborn into youthful vigor and began to climb again into northern skies leaving our southern siblings in growing gloom. Funny how we call it the winter solstice rather than something like ... winter solstice in the northern hemisphere.
