Symposium is over, I'm just waiting the half-hour before my shuttle gets here in the non-smoke-filled sanctuary of my room. It's amazing how much you take the public smoking laws of CA for granted until you come somewhere where they aren't. My sinuses don't love me.

That was, entirely, the most cracktastic thing ever. I can't watch the HP movies and see the giant squid without thinking that the squid had better stay put this time, 'cause Ace might have a conniption fit if she has to chase it down again.

Are evidence that there is a God, and he wants us to be happy. :D But they have to be made right - the marshmallow has to be a dark golden brown all the way around (including the top, y'slackers).

I love all versions of this (even if they have evidently re-named the books (whut) - from the beginning where poor James is riding the bus to some Yorkshire town he's never even heard of before to meet a boss he convinces himself is an ex-Nazi who will murder him for accidently smiling at the mistress to when he's reflecting on how his daughter wants to be a large animal vet and how it might actually be possible, whereas he couldn't see her doing it old-school style. It's all still so very, very true.

I love taking pictures. I always have, but then I got a digital camera, and all bets were off 'cause then I could take, like, 100's of pictures and actually get some post-worthy ones!
And now I need to run. Hopefully my plane won't get delayed - yesterday I was in Vegas 6 hours overtime thanks to weather in San Francisco.
