I'll track the source down later but these are the lines that are filling me this morning as Briton mobilizes into food rationing reality. That country was traumatized by World War II rationing and especially food rationing.
Eating disorders and whacky food issues can be numerously traced in British families to that single mid-20th century event. Unprocessed and unresolved food & scarcity issues got driven into subsequent generations (us).. so in some schools of thought this current erupted reality is not one bit surprising.
When I first worked in East London hospitals, in pediatrics, I realized that the staff, from young interns to old timers, were traumatized by daily occurrences yet culturally completely ill-equipped to process and integrate what they were being confronted with in the context of sick and dying chidren. Slowly slowly, the establishment of inter-disciplinary de-briefing meetings allowed some of that enormously weighty material to have some airing and means to dissolve and dissapate (Basic ABC of human connectivy and hierarchy of needs, right.... right?).
We have to shake this down!
"bomb is "mob" spelled backwards with a b on the end. I'd say they are equally devastating in their effect and both come from some utterly devastating breakdown some other place in the human story.

PS I got a new income stream which is exceeding good news and I have to run RIGHT NOW and do it, but I want to tell you HOW I got it because it's is still impressing me! : A criagslist ad seeking people to present this non-profit fundraiser to local businesses in San Jose. I shoot them off a spontaneous response "If it was in Santa Cruz and I could do it on my bike, you've got me" - one week later they call and say "You're on!" Seriously, I'm amazed.
