Dickens - Weekend Two
During which our intrepid Father Christmas has an Epic Failure on his health roll.
*Sigh*
Scratchy throat all last week led to a runny nose on Friday night that started during Locals Night.
It got worse on the drive home.
Saturday was NOT a good day. I had to call in and miss my first Dickens performance due to illness .. first in 13 years of doing the show. Follow that with the second call in on Sunday.
I had to call in to work yesterday as well.
I'm in the office today, but still not 100%.
Why couldn't this have waited until it usually does. The day after Christmas. When I have a week to recover.
*Sigh*
Upcoming schedule:
Standard work weeks, Monday through Friday, this week and next.
Dickens Saturdays and Sundays the next two weekends.
Took vacation time Monday through Wednesday of Christmas week.
Dickens for a shortened day on the 24th.
Holiday!!! I don't go back to work until January 5th. Gotta love University paid holidays.
