Anyway...got a 97% on the history exam I was stressing about. So I got me some yummies from the Boozel Yummies Bar. (SRU makes the *best* yummies.)
And of course, billions of thankies to Josh for helping me study for the psychology test. ::bows:: Lets see if I'm a total lost cause yet or not.
So I've been busy. My ass-like advisor dicked me over for classes by signing me up for a bunch that were already full. So I pretty much ended up making up my own schedule...which wasn't fun because I can't read my DARs report. I had to guess on which classes would count towards my major or not. Didn't get the abnormal psych. class I wanted, but did get into the criminology one. (It took me 5 minutes to get it through his head, "No, I know it has nothing to do with my major...I just want to *learn* about it. I have the opportunity here to do so and I want to take advantage of it...are you listening to me? I don't care if you're wife called! I made an appointment with you and YOU'RE WASTING MY TIME YOU FAT, SMELLY BASTARD!") But it's still not that bad. All my classes still start at either 9 or 9:30...but I can live. I also have a dance class three days a week. (I know I need a physical in there somewhere...) On the upside, two history courses (Ancient and Medieval and Colonial America,) and a math course for dummies. And...uh....something else. Um...oh yeah. International Relations. Figure that couldn't hurt. (The lab he had wanted me to take was full...as well as several other classes. GAH!)
So anyway.
Harry Potter DVD comes out Tuesday. ::happy dance::
Also realized I'm finally obsessing over a boy who's *real*. Isn't that so much more healthy of me? :D
Well, I have work coming out of several orifices that shall remain unnamed, but I also have the Gaelic Storm concerts this weekend. Am so happy. I need a break...so I get to go have fun. Yay! Get to see the whole forum gang...the band...meet the Petes. ::happy dance::
Oh...I started drawing this picture yesterday...it has to be one of the best I've ever done. Totally kicks my ass. (Pencils, too! Alright!) Not only did I finally figure out how to put shading/shine on Harry's hair (which is something I've been struggling with for years,) but I've also drawn the trio...together...walking...
This *is* an accomplishment. I've never successfully drawn a group of people doing anything other than just standing there, posing. In this, the three are walking down a hallway...Hermione's talking (obliviously) while Harry's next to here...Ron's sort inbetween, but a bit behind them. He has one hand on Hermione's shoulder...but he's playing with Harry's tie with the other. Hehe. Luff it. Subtle bit of slash. I originally had them sitting on the steps, but I liked this set up better. (Always pencil in lightly, folks.) Also, I had started with Harry smoking a cigarette...but I decided to take it out because it was obscuring Ron's face. But now, since I took it out later in the process...there's just this black smudge on Harry's face. Grrs. Oh well...it's the practice I'm glad for.
