The girls had appointments with their pediatrician yesterday. Ives had a particularly good visit; she's doing some five-year-old skills already (writing her name, counting to 20) and she handled her FIVE shots like a champ.
Best part, though: Doc says "what do you want to be when you grow up, Ivy?" and Ivy says, "a paweontowogist." I guess paleontologist is not an occupation often cited by four-year-olds.
Mags is doing great too, except she missed a couple of the letters on the eye chart. I first got glasses in second grade, so she may be following in my footsteps there.
Oh, and no copays. Hooray for Obamacare!
