- and last but not least, the 2005 warped tour... which was today.... which was fucking kick ass! so lets expand on this one eh. so i slept over at sprads house last night because we were going to the concert together. my little brother decided to join us in the concert so he slept over as well. sprads, little sprads, zach and i all couldnt fall asleep. so we didnt end up goign to bed to around 6 A.M. we woke up around 10:30sih, which gave us a decent amount of sleep. his dad's g/f made us breakfast which was pretty damn good if i do say so myself. then after about an hour after we woke up, we were ready to go so his cousins michael and kevin came and picked us up. the ride down there was sweet because we were jamming out to queen the whole time while talking to this guy who was next to us on the freeway. but anyhoo on to the concert. when we got there and started walking around, we realized rise against the first band playing at one of the stages. so we quick ran to that. there show was pretty kick ass, but it wouldve been better if there werent assholes in the mosh just throwing people to the floor. but still, great show and great band. then josh and michael wanted to go see silverstein. i dont really know them so i didnt go in the pit. i waited for them to get done so we could go watch senses fail. in the midst of the waiting josh lafevre comes out of nowhere and says "hi". it was pretty sweet because we were discussing the concert 2 days before it. then yeah after that we finally made it to senses fail, right in time too. they were in the middle of playing "lady in a blue dress". i was so excited so i started singing as soon as i heard it. that was another sweet showing, although i either got an elbow or a shoulder in the eye. leaving me with a small cut and somewhat of a black eye. small price to pay for something so bad ass. then after that, the next show i wanted to see was fall out boy. we went into the huge tent with all the band boothes with t-shirts and what not. everyone got a few shirts and then sat around for awhile until the show was about to start. fall out boy was my favorite show. it was just so energetic and intense and fast paced and i knew the majority of the songs. it was simply amazing. so far all the shows seem to have their pros and cons, and i will continue that. while i was in the middle of some serious head banging/dancing/spinning around and going insane i pulled a neck muscle. something that would affect me for the remainder of the night.... remembering at this time we still had 5 hours left. after FOB kevin, justin (little sprads), zach, and i all went to go on the huge slip and slide. it was so relieving to take a dive or two through some ice cold water after an exhausting show. the because of my neck and lack of bands i wanted to see, i sat around and just watched some bands for about 2 hours until hawthorne heights came on. now this concert was alright. i mean it was good music, but my neck killed and the mosh wasnt good at all. but it was still cool because they're a great band. after those guys we all went off to the side to rest up and what not. offspring was the next band. we sat on the side for about a song and a half until zach, payne, who we met up with right before FOB, and me couldnt understand why we werent over there. we jumped in in the middle of "come out and play". such and oldie but goodie. we managed to make it from almost completely from the back to front row. and although we were in front row and they were playing great tunes, i was surrounded by about 4 guys who weighed 250 pounds of more that kept pushing against me. it wasnt that bad i guess, but it just gets old after awhile. but im really glad that we jumped into offspring. ive been listening to them since i was about 8 years old and it would have been terrible to miss seeing them. those are pretty much all the concerts that i jumped into, but i ended up listening to a lot of other bands, like.... silverstein, all american rejects, the transplants, atreyu, avenged sevenfold, dropkick murphys, and then my chemical romance. i didnt really take well to atreyu, that it until they covered bon jovi's "shot through the heart". oh man did i love that haha. then the dropkick murphy's had an incredible performance. i regret not jumping into that one. for one song they let some guy from the audience come onto stage and sing one of there songs. then during their last song they brought like 10 people from the audience on stage just to dance and what not. it was wicked entertaining. then last but not least was my chemical romance. i didnt really partake to well to that show because i never really got into them. although they did sound like a pretty good band. and that was pretty much the night. but what an incredible night indeed. i just have one thing to say, i cant wait till next year! later people.
