You two have some awesome work (and awesome plans for work) but it would have been really nice if you'd spell-checked before you posted.
I had a labret, and I've heard it's about the same to heal a cheek-piercing. It was painful, but certainly nothing you can't handle. The healing is pretty easy. Just lots of rinsing. And mine had tons of crusties.
WARNING! (from a piercer)nakedasmylunchNovember 21 2006, 04:42:16 UTC
As a piercer, I would definately suggest NOT having your cheeks pierced without doing a lot of research first. check out bmezine.com for experiences and pics. From what i know, cheeks are not only very difficult to perform (you will need to find an extremely skilled piercer), but can take years, if they ever even heal. DEFINATELY NOTHING LIKE A LABRET. I know people that have them yet have regular problems (seeping, bumps, swelling, discomfort), but keep them in because they are beautiful. I have also heard stories from very prestigious piercers that their cheeks forever leak (i'm serious) and they have even had them cauterized a few time, with no success. I have always wanted my cheeks pierced, but still am not ready to make the decision. Just please do your research. <3
