Home sweet internet
Our cable provider was experiencing a glitch yesterday... which meant that we had no internet, no television and no phone. Joy. \:D/
And today was the first day of my temp job... and ohgodI'msoglad it's only temporary. D:
Let me list what I did today:
- Came in at 7.45
- Sat next to S, the planner I'm to 'support', until about 10. He tried to explain some things, but spent 95% of his time answering the phone - rush hour!
- Joined the secretaryperson around ten... part of my tasks is data-entry: the hour registration of the drivers has to be checked and entered into the system. Guess what I was doing from ten to four thirty? Right.
(And no internet either!)
I'm probably going to be spending some more time on the damn thing this week - the planning department has gotten a new system a month and a half ago, and the hour registration has fallen behind because of it... I'm there to help work on it. But please let me do something else soon! D:
And now I'm home, with internet access. Obviously. XD
