It's a known fact that there are nowhere near as much fansubbers for the dramas as there are for anime series. Anime fansub groups are, forgive me for saying it, a dime a dozen. Some have very high quality work, others are barely watchable

And I thought scanlation groups were a bunch of pissy assholes... funny that in the anime world, there are many fansub groups often doing the same material... sure it's not fun for a group that slowed down to see a new group CONTINUE a series (instead of starting from scratch) in order to finish subbing a series but it's life...
Because at the end of the day? None of these groups (drama, anime, manga) OWN the material they sub. They are ALL breaking copyright law, anyway.
Bunch of assholes... (but of course what they care about is people sucking/brown-nosing at them... can't have that if others finish the job for them).

Here, look at this:
" Plus, fansubbers just claim the project to be theirs, not the series.

Same thing... and it's still illegal of them. If they are NOT able to take FIVE minutes to put up a post explaining there's a delay? Their lack of curtesy towards the fans of the SHOW (not them... the SHOW) then I don't see why they get in a shit when there's talk of it being taken over.

The original person subbing hasn't logged in for two months, and this other guy who suddenly showed up is extremely rude and demanding. 'Courtesy' seems to be a foreign word, here. >>;

I just hope this isn't erupting in a big argument, and that the series will (eventually) be finished.

I have seen several I had to haul through spellcheck before I could watch without twitching.Oh? You mean like Stand UP!!? 8D ( ... )

Unfortunately, Stand UP!! is hard subbed. I twitch. :D;
That's what bothers me as well. As long as the original subber doesn't clearly say "That's it, I'm quitting. Whoever wants to continue this, feel free to do so", nobody will be able to take over the project. Or at least, post his or her subs on the board there. Meh.
If that EZKiel guy were standing next to me at this moment, I'd probably be tempted to thwap him, honestly. He's damned rude, which is uncalled for. When people are expressing their concern, he acts as if they're idiots. And meanwhile, KanJi herself is still absent, as you said. There is no evidence at all that they have ever corresponded, let alone decided to work on it together. But since I'm not completely cynical, I'll just give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Reluctantly.

Besides, the proper term for it is 'realist'. *cackles and skips off*

And it would've been a whole different story if KanJi had posted a note telling that she was still working on it, but might be delayed... but that was not the case here. It was a two-month absence, without a single word - I don't blame them at all for thinking of finding someone else to take over.
Yes, precisely. When you upload a file and want to post it somewhere, it seems that the current standard is to have half a dozen people credited for it. Hell, I usually don't even know where I got a file from, just that I have it! Why should I credit half the internet for uploading a file they got from another place anyway? >>;;;
