Recent conversation with payroll at my old job
Me: Hello, how are you? My name is John Dale and I am a former employee. My employee number was (blah blah blah blah).
Payroll Lady: *click click click* How can I help you?
Me: Yeah, I had like 82 hours of unused leave when I left, and instead of paying me for the unused hours you paid me $82 (which after tax is like $48).
Payroll Lady: *click click click* Well according to our paper work you look okay....let's see, you recieved your regular payroll check last Friday and...oh my...I think we owe you some money...
Me: Yeah...
Payroll: Would like to wait until the regular payroll cycle or would you like an out of cycle check?
Me: If you mean would I like my money now or later then I choose now...
