O Day Retrospective

O-Day was pretty cool, despite having to stay at the UDS stall all day and set it up/pack it back up again.  I pretty much spent 6 hours doing heavy lifting, standing behind a desk, being polite, telling people what we had on offer, getting details from said people and taking money, all while wearing a silly suit ( Read more... )

those are the people you NEVER CALL BACK unless they call you, coz then they are really enthusiastic or really up themselves or are actually really good at acting and will persevere. the rest, who the fuck cares, you have their money! (stupid actors)

of course, you already knew all that, ir takes about 6 months at uds to figure that out (longer for actors).

we'd end up willingly drinking 3 year old VB found under a pile of costumes from a forgotten production. it happened once.

surely call backs should be based on the quality of the audition and what they look like, more than anything else
