(no subject)
It's not looking good for the latop, been trying it all day but nothing comes on at all....it seems that i'm gunna have to fork out for a new one. Typical that it should die on me just before the school terms start....
Today at least was a great day, I went to see 'Inglorious Basterds' with my brother. Seriously, you all need to go and watch this film. It's not for the light-hearted but it's absolutely brilliant.
The critics main gripes about it were that it was too long and that the music taken from other movies seemed off, i'd agree with the music....certain parts just didn't go well and I think Tarantino should have really considered a composer for this particular film. One piece of music he used was from one of my favourite Sammo Hung films, Eastern Conders, which was a nice reference for fans like me....but again it didn't really suit the film.
But I didn't personally feel that the film was too long, I thought it paced out rather nicely. I love Tarantino use of dialogue in his films, but with this one there was a certain added (very Hitchock style) thrill to it rising the tension in the scene. I totally loved this film!!!
Christope Waltz must surely be a contender for best actor.....so brilliant.
