" My sister Naomi has named our fund for keeping us housed + safe the "Race to Raise the Roof", and you can donate right here:

I am already so overwhelmed by everyone's kindness! I love you all!

Naomi also wants to start a Robert Moos Foundation for Music Therapy.

Since this entry is now being passed around, let me first show you the article in the Philadelphia Inquirer about the foreclosure situation and my little brother's death:
One catastrophe at a time, please

My family has been through a lot. My dad died and my childhood home went through a fire two years ago. On Sunday, my little brother, who was autistic and severely mentally handicapped, died. The next morning my mother received a foreclosure notice. Monetarily, things are pretty dire, as my mom is a single working parent and we no longer receive any social security benefits.

It's hard asking for help, but at this point, any little bit, whether it's a donation or just passing along the Inquirer article, would really help us out a lot! Thank you all!!

Things you can do that are not donating money:
-reposting the Inquirer article and/or this LJ entry
-tweeting about the article on Twitter
-becoming a fan of Race to Raise the Roof on Facebook
-singing your favorite Beatles song (Bob loved the Beatles.)
-hugging the people you love most
