I have to admit I am totally baffled by this whole school spirit thing. It seems like a waste of time and money to bother with all these stupid events in the hopes that they raise morale or some shit. I'm there to learn (or out of legal obligation as in high school) and it doesn't matter to me that it's THIS school instead of THAT one as long as they're teaching what I need to be learning. Seriously, why the hell is this stuff so important to so many people?
