Been a while since I posted, never did find the point of Live Journal, however my avatar is cooler than my deviant art's so I’ll chill here instead. Nothing new is up; I live a pretty lazy life which to me is the good life. Saw the Matador Wednesday, and I was pleasantly surprised by its take on the comedy life of a hit man. The entire cast (that being 3 people) were very strong and likable, even the geeky husband guy. The story was silly enough to make it an enjoyable watch, not trying to be too funny but then surprising you now and again. The situation with Julian (Hit man guy) was sad yet lacking tragedy which drove out the human nature of a hit man’s life, yet not detouring my desire to someday become a world renown Bounty Hunter Pirate Hit man. When you get the chance to see the Matador on DVD I suggest picking it up and calling me over. We'll have a merry old time.
Live Journals are created for Rants, so rants I will have. How about that AD 267? My 'Photoshop your face in the sand 101' class. Mostly what I dislike about this class is all my photo teachers to this point have been cynical old men and one cynical female grad. And whether for good or for worse i love the company of cynical fucks. They just seem to have more life in them, and certainly better stories. There are many more reasons that i love cynicism but most of them involve being cynical myself. My teacher for 267 is a very highly ditzy woman, whom I could Photoshop a picture of Scooby-Doo and Mt. Olympus together and she would spend 10 minutes fellating it. WHAT? DITZY PEOPLE IN A LIBRAL ARTS BUILDING? say it aint so. I wouldn’t have a problem with her as she chose the right venue for her college art degree; however she's the head of the department of photography. The Boss of Bosses. I donno, just makes you think. The class on a whole isn't too bad it you get past the idea that it has little relevant value other than design majors or people majoring in AD 267. My crowning achievement in that class though is spending about 2 hours Tuesday adding in the shadow for an ipod, which all things considered is pretty cool.
