So Christmas came and went.

It was the most mediocre christmas ever, very dissapointing.

I gifted myself nicely though, a new messenger bag, a new tea set, a few books and some death cab for cutie.

And the Dalai Lama book that no one got for me.

I got about 30 cookies from the Maples, I've been eating them since. along with all the other baked goods.

My friend Gina gave me a 3 piece suit that no longer fit her, it's amazing, like really really amazing. nothing has ever fit me like this. So I need to go out and get a navy tie to match it.

Happy New year. Does everyone feel any different?

I was pretty down for days after christmas. But I'm feeling better now, I think it's because something I did really lived up and wasn't dissapointing. That is the amazing time we had at New Years.

Bryan, Chelsea, Gina, and I, themed our new years to the death cab song, new years.

There was fire crackers lit off the front lawn, and we dressed in out best suits and dresses, and made believe we were wealthy. We split a bottle of wine and had an amazing night.

And we went out for cheap mexican food before that. yah!

Then as the new year approached we laid out on the roof of Bryan's house and watched the stars and the explosions in the distance.

The day was very fufilling, and I have a feeling the new year ahead will be too.

My new year's resolution is to study language for an hour every day, switching off on languages. Right now I'm doing Japanese, Greek, and French. And the real tough part is to continue doing this after I get to school, and hopefully for the rest of the year.

Everyone leave a comment and tell me what your new year's resolution is.

anxious for school and st. aug
