I have a ridiculous backlog of TV shows I've been meaning to write about:

Castle:First I was bored by it, then I loved it, then I got bored, and now it's winning me over again. It's a quirky screwball crime drama with great chemistry between the leads - fluffy cotton candy and little more. It occasionally has DEEP DARK episodes which are handled ( Read more... )

Re: Community--I recommend watching from the beginning. Season 1 is its most palatable season--not that S2 or S3 are bad, they just are maybe better understood (the direction of the comedy, etc) after one has seen S1. But I concur on the Troy and Abed show.

Parks & Rec! Love it. I skipped most of S1, S2 is significantly better. And so far, I love S3.

Castle--I haven't been watching regularly, just here and there, but good golly Nathan Fillion is charismatic. I really am starting to enjoy it now that there's more push/pull romantic tension between Castle and Beckett. This week's episode was really enjoyable, I thought.

Good call on watching S1 Community first. It seems the show is getting increasingly meta over time, which is awesome but makes it a bit inaccessible.

I will heed your advice and start Parks and Rec from the second season!

When they were handing out charisma, Nathan Fillion kept charming his way back in line.
