Stuff happened leikwoah so let's get started. Of course I am assuming you're reading this because you give a shit so ok
First: I quit my job a few weeks ago for a lot of reasons. Among them being:
It was a shit job, I was working every day, and if I wasn't working I still had school, so I had NO free time.
The pay was ok, but again, it was a shitty job (pushing carts all day is not fun). I don't have anything against physical labor, and I don't expect a super entry-level position, but there are other options.
And of course the stupid reason, I saw what it was doing and would do to me and Lora and that shit don't go down, yo.
Second: We saw Star Wars ep. 3 last week, and that was pretty good, definitely better than the first 2 prequels. It was a lot darker. I think someone did the math at some sort of dismemberment approximately every 16 minutes.
Third: Lora and i went to Grand Rapids yesterday for the MSI concert. It was fucking sweetness. The first opening band was just 2 guys singing about video games which is ok for maybe one or two songs but then it got old and people kept throwing shit at them which wasn't cool but they weren't so great so yeh
Next was some weird band that I can't really describe... kinda Fungus Amongus Incubus-y (as in not shitty) but harder.
Then came MSI. There's just something surreal about seeing the people of a band you like in person. I was right at the front row at first, about 20 feet from the stage, and I could see everything. But then the crowd got very rough and I couldn't even stand up, it was so cramped and violent, so I put up with that for a few songs. Then it was very hot and I couldn't breathe and I'm a pussy so I got out before I passed out.
After watching from afar for a while, Lora and I met up, and I held her stuff while she moshed. heh. Kinda weird that she moshes and I wimp out. But that's the way we roll, son.
She also got her shoe, some concert program thingie, and a ticket stub signed (the ticket stub signed by all 3 present band members was for me <3)
After that we stayed in a hotel literally across the street from the venue, and left for home the next morning, where I find myself now.
