started college today, i guess thats worth posting about.
started at 8. 8! 2 anda 1/2 hour class. its Anatomy and physiology, we reviewed almost all of chemistry today. ms. doerr's class, in 1 and 1/2 hours. holy crap. we spent the 1st hour going over the syllabus and rules, my teacher reminds me of a young ms doerr too. no homework either. and for those who had ms christian, this teacher uses the positive point system, lol.
NEXT i had Composition 1. with Mr. Cheney. liberal minded guy, it was gr8, he's funny and is easy going. really basic stuff today, 50 minute class, perfect timing, not too long and just long enough. i enrolled at a perfect time too, they just lowered the word count for the year from 6000 to 4000, for essays and stuff.(essay here and there 300 words, research paper 1500, etc.)
THEN i have 10 minutes to run over to the other side of the campus for college Algebra, we didn't do anything today but go over the sylabus and let us know how the grading system works, it freakin rocks. h/w is online and is 20 percent of your grade, but you don't have to get it right the 1st time around. there's 5 exams, 1-4 on chapters and stuff then a final. your final grade is the average of all the exams, BUT if u have a really low grade on one of your chapter exams you can double your final exam in place of it. really basic, i need a TI 83-plus tho. i also bought the whole years worth of notes for the class at the copy store on campus for 4 bucks. SWEET.
