There are just some things that take me back to my childhood, and one of them is "Alice's Restaurant Massacree" There's just something about that song. I remember hanging out with Brian all the time, riding(skating for me) around town. All my old friends who I don't see. It's almost like no matter how much your life sucks at the time, you always look back fondly...almost. Anyways, every thanksgiving they play Alice's Restaurant on the radio. They play it at 6, 12 and 6. I always wake up for the 6am one. After it was done(it's 20 minutes long) the dj talked about it bringing in the holiday season. It just kickstarts it off. He is right. But for me, I remember standing in Brian's living room listening to this song for the first time and thinking "what the hell is this song? It's so weird but awesome!" It got me to listen to folk more, and anyway, I like to reminisce, but not for too long cause it makes me sad. I will be listening to this song as much as I can today.
