Ahh, the Irish

So I heard this song for the first time today, and I love it so much. I already listened to it at least 15 times, and I've already memorized the whole song. Pathetic, maybe, but so what? =/

Over the sea and far away
She's waiting like an iceberg
Waiting to change
But she's cold inside
She wants to be like the water

All the muscles tighten in her face
Buries her soul in one embrace
They're one and the same
Just like water

The fire fades away
Most of every day
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the otherside of the world to me

On comes the panic light
Holding on with fingers and feelings alike
But the time has come
To move along

The fire fades away
Most of every day
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the otherside of the world

Can you help me?
Can you let me go?
And can you still love me
When you can't see me anymore?

The fire fades away
Most of every day
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the otherside of the world
The otherside of the world
You're the otherside of the world to me...

...I'm probably going to be serenading myself all through school tomorrow.

As a P.S. for Jess (who told me to post I might add), what should I know about prom? Or, what do you know? -- something along those lines. BUT. Quick update on pointless things that might merely serve to take up space:

I love my new shoes--so much so that I bought them in three different colors. They're weird, and they actually make my feet look BIGGER, but so much the better.

My new bag is cool, but kind of dressy for me. It's not taking as much getting used to as I anticipated, though.

I got a prom dress over spring break. However, upon trying it on again today, I discover that it doesn't look as great back on the east coast.
Alas..
Still, I'm psyched about prom just because I didn't go last year. Afterprom, too, definitely, and I absolutely want to volunteer for the hypnotist if we have him again. Maybe.

Yay! I found out the JMU honors app deadline got extended to being postmarked as of Monday; probably they realized that they officially invited all of the regular-admits far too late.

[That's it.]
