I found out today what I got on my two AP midterms, and I was psyched. 89 on Stats and some numberless A para ingles..
Oh yeah baby! lol
I was so relieved, because I thought I had seriously bombed my English exam. I know my essay sucked (comparatively), but she said since it still analyzed the poem it didn't help me OR hurt me. My magical scantron skills saved the day, after all, but that's what I was most worried about. Normally those practice AP exams and multiple choice questions are a breeze, and this time I didn't seem to know what the heck they were asking.
I got a B or B+ for the semester, but I was bummed about my 2nd 9-wks. grade: C+.. and it was only one point away from a B!
Alas alac and woe is me--if only I had turned in just ONE more thing on time. Grrr..
Oh well. This next semester I'm buckling down. This is my goal, and this better be what's going to happen.
Math! Just shows what some studying can do.. I'm now inspired to do it more often. Megan Ayers (my 'seat-buddy') and I plan to start meeting every other weekend to review/study what we're covering, plus I now have a Math & English study/homework-buddy for 4th periods! Can you say sweet? :p
...Too bad I'm still so worried about my regular grades for that class.
Notebook? ready. Notes to be copied? check. Homework to be done? right-o. Attention to be paid? you betcha.
