I considered sending you a card to wish you a great 34th birthday, but I felt that I couldn’t. Last April I made you a promise that the ball was in “your court,” meaning I’d wait for you to contact me. Thus I didn‘t want to upset you (especially not on your birthday) by breaking that promise. However, I wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and wishing you well, so I decided to post those sentiments here -- that way they’d be waiting for you if you decided to visit “my court.”
Therefore, I hope you have a FABULOUS birthday filled with all things fabulous, bigger and better and best!
And should your thoughts wander to me today, I hope they’re happy ones, filled with all the good times we shared together over the years: New Zealand (twice!), Mexico, Nebraska, MEU, “Extra Innings”, TGodspellIF!, Saturday morning walks to Panera thru "the Mines of Moria”, Misfits Mardi Gras jambalaya, the Easter we never got out of bed, IWY!, Lost nights w/ Bertie, Nickel Creek concerts, our balcony seats for musicals, PiratesOTC, pirate porn, MMM Carpet, matterhorns, ….
