"who wants to be a survivor?"

today was the most worthless day of school ever. we had to be in school at the usual absurd hour only to find that the three classes that we actually had either consisted of no work or were interrupted by picture taking for the yearbook. i played poker with some people in photo, and i won $3.50 before ms. melito realized what we were doing and threatened to take the cards away. either that or kill us. at 10:30ish was the pep rally, so naturally andrew and i found better ways to spend our time. that included making a getaway in mal mal's car, going to mcdonald's, going to wakefield high to see if they were also having a pep rally, hiking in the woods, and searching for dead possum skulls. if that's not a good time, then i don't know what is. after that i had to go take care of some car insurance business (that makes me sound so sophisticated when i'm really so not). i met up with everyone at andrew's, we did nothing for quite some time, then the group was multiplied by one half, so tony, andrew, and i braved the storm and got some pita bread. we went back to andrew's and played poker for an hour or so. my lowest point was when i was down $5 to tony and even with andrew after his owing me $3, but i came back strong and finished the last hand with a flush that left me even with tony and up $4.50 on andrew. it was mad leet or whatever. then some people came, some people left, and alex, andrew, juliana and i ended up eating burritos and playing taboo. it was an awesome time. then like half the world had guitar lessons so juliana and i went to my house and watched i love the 90's and whose line for the rest of the night. overall, i'd say it was a good day.

sarah's home for pilgrim day. melrose/wakefield football game tomorrow.
