Chili is a food for warmth, killing hunger, and generally making life nice.

1 pound of ground beef
1 large onion
2 tbsp. of oil
2 tbsp. of oil of chili powder
2 cans of tomato soup
1. Put oil in a pot (about 3 quart) with heat set to medium to med-high.
2. Chop onion into small pieces and let cook in the oil for about 4- 5 min to take the raw edge off.
3. Place the ground beef into the cooking onions and brown the meat (it should not be pink)
4. Strain the excess fat. I use a strainer and then put the meat back in the pot.
5. Put the soup and chili powder into the pot (If the chili is too thick add a little water at a time until you come the desired consistency)
and let cook until simmering.
I like this with a little shredded cheese and some Fritos.
