Well... it's been a good 6 months since I've gotten around to writing a blog... seems I write much more in the winter... the lack of light seems to get the juices flowing a lot more. So it's getting close to christmas... I'm going to go down to Seattle to spend it with my family for the first time in years... I'm kind of excited... I'm not going to lie. As an athiest, the whole religious end of the season is somewhat lost on me... but the spirituality bursts through. It's kind of odd... a religious holiday devoid of a deity but replaced with a fondness of a group of people I just happen to be geneticaly similar to. Kinda funny, if you ask me. I'm also looking forward to the rain. I miss rain. I've had enough of the whole 'white christmas' bullshit! Give me the green christmas I remember from my childhood! In other news... I think I've found the cure for the common cold... Vodka! I started off the other night, sick as a dog, drank a 40oz of vodka and ended up healthy (other than the hangover). I'll have to conduct further testing on this subject and I will transmit my results at a later date. Anyhow... I should probably go... I took the day off under the premise that I needed to go to the doctor to have my ribs looked at... think I managed myself my first significant moshpit injury in over a decade and a half!
