Has it been that long?

I can't believe this is still here after almost 2 years of neglect.

Ok, so I guess it's time for an update.

What the last 2 years have entailed for Bob, worth noting for me anyway:

Bought a motorcycle - http://www.devin.com/img/gs500e-black-factory.jpeg

I'm going to be a daddy in late August/early September (we'll find out the sex in June)

I bought a house

I'm engaged (date to be determined) - We're waiting until after the munchkin is born. The way we see it, it's something we want to do for us, not because the parents want it, or it's the right thing to do. It might sound selfish, but we want things done on our terms, instead of rushing into something. I want the wedding to mean something. I'm not saying all shotgun weddings are wrong; maybe just a bit old-fashioned, or a poignant admittance of fault. I want this to be something that lasts, a day we can remember with a smile, without regret.

I bought a Gigabyte GeForce 6600 GT 8x AGP 128MB video card. That's the most I've ever spent on any single PC component to date, and I couldn't be happier in the performance leap. My 3d Mark '03 benchmarks went from 1135 to 7839.

I'm told I'm doing the 3 most stressful things one can look forward to in life, all in one year. Those being: getting married, buying a house, and having your first child. We've got the house under our belt (we just need to finish unpacking). I'll be going gray by 30 at this rate(I'm already going bald, so I'm told).
