Music!
Yesterday was the most fantastic evening musically. First I had clarinet, which is always fun, and I got the music that I'm going to play for the recital in December. It's a POLKA!!! I'm really excited about this, and I find it funny that the first time I play a polka is in a tropical country several thousand miles away from Minnesota. And, if the saxophonist actually practices it, I get to play Flight of the Bumblebee in a duet! I've practiced it a couple times already, and I'm absolutely in love with it. Even though both of those pieces are easier than the other music I've been playing, they're just so fun! And then, walking home, I passed the ice cream place (kind of like DQ but not a chain), which always has the radio playing for the customers. It was playing Wild World by Cat Stevens! (Abbie, this is your influence at work.) It made me so happy!
