I'm back, Henry.

Yeah, my side of the posting war sort of died there for a while. I wasn't really in a livejournal frame of mind over the vacation. Not sure exactly why it worked out that way, but eh. Point is, I'm here now.

So, food party today was absolutely awesome. And Heidi emailed me Closing Time, so I'm super-happy right now. Even though I spent the past couple of hours only half-studying for my Tuesday Calculus test while I rewatched a kind of cheesy movie (D.E.B.S.) on youtube. I think I'm mostly okay for the material though.

In other news, I'm sad that Laura left. But she'll be back in under three weeks! I love college winter breaks. Speaking of which, December 1st (and thus the Biology SAT II) is coming up fast, and today I went to Barnes & Nobles to get a study book which should prove immeasurably useful. I also read the story I have to write about by Tuesday for English and did do some math, so today was really more productive than I was thinking.

I've been thinking a lot lately about how my priorities don't always put school first anymore. I've decided that's a good thing. If I leave high school with an A- or two but know myself better and have had more fun, then I think that's actually a pretty good deal. This might just be senioritis, but it might also be that I'm realizing that there are more important things in life than school. And (this is rare for me) I don't regret it.
