Today was a lot of fun. I actually did chores at home (walked the dogs, did laundry) and then I got to spend time at Heidi's with a bunch of cool people. From chocolate mousse and a pretty bad comedy to wasting half an hour in Barnes and Nobles, the whole afternoon was awesome. I feel like such a little socialite - just a couple of days of not seeing people and I was starting thinking I was a recluse.
Oddly, it seems like almost everyone's gone right now. Either they've just left, just got back, or are about to leave. By the way, if either Elspeth or Henry happens to read this, I hope you have the best of best times in Latin America. It's such a valuable thing to get to live every day as its own adventure, and I hope that's exactly what you get. I'll miss you, but I hope you have a great time and tell me all about it when you get back!
