I lost my cellphone in the snow during lunch, but Mom and Dad are actually not angry at all and just said that these things happen (which sort of surprised me to be honest. But in a good way, of course.)
And said lunch period was incredible! Playing in snow is one of life's joys. Aside from the cell phone thing when I was worried, the whole day was one of those times when you feel like no matter what happens now, it's all been worth it just for this day. When you realize that it doesn't make a difference if it's all taken away tomorrow, because at least you've been really happy once.
Snow in torrents and blizzards does that to my mood. I wish it could happen every year, which is sort of why I want to live in Canada when I grow up.
