Free trip this weekend...
…to Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.
So, apparently CoH is having a free reactivation weekend. It actually started yesterday, but my NCSoft message ended up in the spam folder. I learned of it via the CoH news feed. I wish I had known yesterday, I probably would have logged on.
As I hinted previously, CoH is calling me back. It’s not even the new features, really. I’ve just hit a stalling point in WoW. Two of my main reasons to play haven’t really panned out. I don’t play with my son which I thought would be cool. We currently don’t have a 2nd PC, and going to the LAN center hasn’t come together. My meatspace friend I was playing with blew past me level-wise, so we don’t get together in-game much anymore, either.
I also know I’m probably not rejoining City right away. I’m going to play through until mid June when the WoW sub expires. This weekend will be an evaluation of sorts. City always had performance issues for me, and WoW has been a dream in that department. I want to see if City is what I’m missing vs. being MMO burned out in general. Lastly, I want to see if I’m still “feeling it” with my old coalition.
Spending some time this weekend in Paragon City (and maybe the Rogue Isles) should be fun.
