I never thought the loudtwitter posts were a problem. The cool kids were doing it, and I occasionally garnered comments off of them. They were my lazy way to accomplish daily posting. Sure, some people recently wrote rants about them, but I wasn’t on their friends list, so I wasn’t bothering them, AFAIWC.
But today I learned a problem with it on my end: the difficulty they cause when trying to find an old post. The post was back in January, so I was surprised at how far back I had to go. (I know tags would have been my savior, but I often fail to tag.)
So not only have those posts been suspended, I’m deleting most of them. The ones that stay are those with comments or those that actually resemble a “day in review.”
I’ll try to lay off the meta-lj and come up with a gaming/sports/politics post next.
