I did not grow up in this country. I have an excuse not to know. Anyways, I was reading the life in the UK book, when I discovered that the Levelers was another group from around the English Civil War. So, now I have a question... How many alterna-hipply-punky bands from the mid 80s-90s era did this? Was this an intentional trend? Coincidence? What other bands have meaning that a foreigner would not get? Was Wonderstuff the name of Cromwell's manor house?
