Also, on my journeys I discovered that the harDCore scene from the late 80s has appears to have grown up, had kids, and are now responsible for the public access cable show Pancake Mountain.
Between them and TMBG, it appears that the parents in my generation will at least not have to put up mind-numbing children's TV.
