I am thankful to the neonatologist who saved my son, and who gave my daughter a chance at life.
I am thankful to the nurses who cared for my children, and treated them with gentleness, kindness, and dignity.
I am thankful to the other NICU parents, who welcomed us into their world of worry and hope, and who always had a word of encouragement.
I am thankful to my family and friends for being there for us.
