(no subject)
intros, outros, interludes, preludes and postludes or whatever the hell you want to call them - i can do without them. seriously, if what you have to say is important enough to be on the record, it should be a song. dont these artists know that when i buy a new cd i automatically rip it to my computer and then it goes to my ipod, which is always on shuffle so the aforementioned things don't make any sense because they are never heard in context.
in other news, i rejoined eharmony. nothing happened with me a kevin, i'm just keeping my options open. it's been almost 6 months, which is great. it's the longest "relationship" i've ever had (even though we're not technically dating). and i do like him, but i know what i want and he doesn't. i am ready to meet... hell i was there even before i left new orleans. this just sucks. i'm sure if we were in the same city, the thought wouldn't even cross my mind.
in more other news, i'm going home next week. one of my aunts died last week (my grandma's sister on my dad's side). i wasn't able to go home for the funeral because i couldn't afford a plane ticket. i'm a bit homesick anyways, but this gives me more of a reason to go home. it's been sort of hard to wrap my head around the thought that my nanny (that's what i called her) is gone. it's been a while since anyone i was close to in my family died, so last week was kind of a tough week.
and just so i dont leave this on a sad note, best buy is having an awesome sale on tv on dvd. i got the first season on entourage for 20 bucks. and circuit city is having their "almost every cd is 10 bucks" sale that they have about 4 times a year. that is perhaps my favorite sale of the year.
