The plan...

Midnight Monster Movies with Dr. Bob will be moving to the Gateway Film Center (date tba). Everyone in the cast knows now but I was not able to tell the Grandview owners Saturday because only one of them was there and I need to tell both at once. While our show Saturday was fun and well-received, the theater just keeps letting us down. I get posters custom-printed to go in the light boxes in front of the theater each show and they haven't put them out since August. Also we weren't on the marquee, yet again. This, coupled with the theater's chronically starting our show late, has had us hemorrhaging audience and the only way to stop the bleeding is a full transfusion.

Our first movie at the Gateway will be Attack of the Killer Tomatoes; I finally tracked down a person to get me permission! We have plans to make the set a bit more "set" and easier to set up. It should make getting the show ready as simple as rolling it out.

I'm planning on talking to the Grandview owners this Saturday... It's not going to be fun but, out of everyone involved with the show, I'm the best equipped emotionally to do this. I'm not sure how to start the conversation; it's like breaking up with your girlfriend. It's times like this that I wish I had a business manager.
