Suspension Flake
I know - it's been ages! I do have a couple of good blogs brewing, I just need some spare time to write them. Anyway in the meantime this is too good not to post. The route is called Suspension Flake and it is at Hound Tor. I had intended to climb it when we were on the boys' weekend away before Henry was born five and a half years ago but when the day came I was too intimidated by the route hungover and didn't have anyone to belay me. It's been a monkey on my back ever since and I have often read the route description or thought about it and wondered if I would ever get up it. Well I did this weekend. Go me. The picture was taken by Dave 'The Legend of the Mountains', and I am very pleased he managed to get it. It's a wonderful moment to have preserved!
