I'm posting from this high-quality Nicaraguan Internet Cafe.
Also, this keyboard is weird and hard to get used to, so excuse any typos or odd characters.
So far, the trip´s been great. Definitely some culture shock though. Also, 90ish degree weather with mixed amounts of humidity are not so fun to deal with.
The house we´re staying at in Managua is really nice compared to most of the others around here. A doctor from Newton owns it, and you can tell some money has been pumped into it. Still, there´s no air conditioning and most of the roof is open to the elements. I´ll have some pictures to post when I get home.
I´ve eaten lots of excellent and new foods here, playing the "culinary roulette," if you will. More details on those sometime later, because I think the cafe´s about to close.
Anyways, I´m still alive and having fun. Just very, very overheated.
