Apparently, my severe lack of sleep over the past few weeks paid off. ;)

Between writing papers for two weeks straight, and painting for 2 days straight, I really didn't have much time to do anything fun... Well, wait, no... Actually, maybe it was the fact that I kept getting distracted by the fun stuff that made it so much harder. I really think I have some kinda attention deficit disorder.

Now, seeing as the last real update from me was early/mid November, lemme see if there's anything really important to recap...

Well...

Ummm...

Guess not.

Actually, the past month has just been more of the same--finishing papers and projects, getting ready for exams, or (more often) avoiding doing any of the above.

The Heroscape set became a fairly permanent fixture in the apartment, with brentnotbroken constantly updating the setup whenever he got board bored. Many games of that were played, as well as some Super Scrabble.

Brent, jarretttheguy, and I have also started playing bboyauron's Vampire LARP. That's a lot of fun, especially the way our characters are going. I'm playing a mild-mannered Indian doctor who doesn't realize he has a crazy, brutish alternate personality. It's quite fun.

I saw the lovely windcriesamy in Amahl and the Night Visitors and her Christmas concert. Both were excellent. And I didn't sleep during either of them!

Oh, I'm 22 now. I feel old.

croft and John rented Mario Party 6. Apparently, they managed to snag a copy from Blockbuster before they were even on the shelves. Needless to say, the game is pretty kickass. It's possible, though, that John and I should never play it with the girls because they don't like how cutthroat we get while playing. :P The only other problem I saw with the game was that finals week wasn't a good time to play it, seeing as I found myself wanting to play it more and more the more work I still needed to finish.

After packing and cleaning the apartment for most of yesterday afternoon, I finally got everything in the van and home. Technically, we were supposed to be moved out by noon. I got out by 5:30. That's not too bad, is it? Anyway, cfchan and Kehlee were still moving her stuff out when I left. What time did you guys finish, anyway?

Unfortunately, I had to break my recent trend of listening to audiobooks between here and school because I'd already finished Brian Jacques' "Triss" and the tapes of "The Chocolate War" were messed up, but it was okay anyways.

At home, I found some fun stuff that had come in the mail. First, I got my Amazon order from September--Big Fish and the Gargoyles cartoon DVD. I got part of my PVP Secret Santa present--some tasty-looking flavored coffees and some Catholic pamphlets.

And then I opened the mysterious cube-shaped box. It was my brand-spanking new iPod from freeiPods.com. It actually worked! Now, if you haven't signed up, click that link and follow the directions. (No, I'm not trying to get another one, although that'd be super cool. I'm actually pimping out Amy's link so maybe she can get one, too.) Now all I have to do is obtain a copy of Windows 2000 or XP, and I'll be set to go.

Naturally, Friday night began at Drips, just like every other night that (a) they're open, and (b) I'm in town. layceejane and The Darc decided we should go Cosmic Bowling after Drips. So we did. I didn't have any socks, so I tried to go to the stores right by the bowling alley, but they were closed.

Fortunately for me, the lovely and talented yoyoma28601 came to my rescue with some very sexy knee-high argyle socks. I must say, I think they really complemented my legs. ;) The equally lovely and talented Laci won both games, although I gave her a run for her money on the first one.

After bowling, Laci, The Darc, ser8ed, iceheart2112, kittykiller17m, and I headed to IHOP, where we had some very interesting conversation.

The question was raised whether guys or girls had to work harder when giving a handjob. Naturally, the guys (except for Patrick) thought it was guys, while the girls thought it was girls.

So, I present the same question to all of you readers. do guys or girls have to work harder giving a handjob? **Clarifications: Is the act of giving a handjob to a male or female more physically tiring?** I don't care if you post anonymously or anything like that, just make sure to include your answer, your gender, and your sexual orientation. I'd like to get a good idea of other people's thoughts on this question.

Hmm, yesterday we went to lunch at the Tap Room. Afterwards, Maya and I ran into George! Now, those of you who didn't go to Hickory High, or don't spend much time downtown, probably don't know George. Anyways, he's this really cool guy who used to be a janitor at HHS. He rides his bike around downtown a lot and is a semi-regular fixture there. I think he used to work for Curtis, the barbeque man, for awhile. He's super friendly--always ready with some kind words and a handshake or hug. He's quite possibly the nicest, most friendly guy I've ever met. I'm not sure if he remembered our names or anything, but I could tell he remembered us. And that meant a lot.

Umm, today was the Christmas brunch at church, so I got lots of tasty foods. This evening was the college student progressive dinner, so I got lots more tasty foods, including chocolate fondue!

Also, it's been snowing lots in Asheville. Amy got off work early, and Maya got stuck up there. It snowed a teeny little bit here. It should snow more!

In conclusion,
Wind Cries Amy : do i get mentioned in the post?
