I waited to take the picture until after the hives on his eyes went away. That's when he looks the worst.
In the spirit of full disclosure, there was a piece of plastic wedged in the door that he used as a crowbar, but that isn't as entertaining. If he's doing this kind of business at 16 months, we'd better renew our home shield.
Egad. I know whereof you speak on the disassembling - the Ladies not only took apart our dishwasher here, but they've hidden some of the parts. Now I have to lift the racks out instead of rolling them. We're in serious trouble.
We were all panicky about food allergies because my mom has life-threatening peanut allergies (she has allergy attacks in between early intervention and transexual appointments :) ). For the Ladies first year we were frantically vigilant about single molecules of peanuts and citrus. They're fine now - sorry you have to deal with it!
He actually was given his first peanut butter by a well-meaning caregiver. I was tutoring her son with reading, and she was watching my babies in the next room. At first his eyes were covered with hives and were really puffy.
It's funny, we've become so paranoid that the other night we caught him chewing on the lotion bottle, and my husband grabbed it from him and checked the back for peanut products.
I'm glad your Ladies are healthy and destructive and allergy free!
