Now accepting donations for a working film scanner

I'm working away on my new site design and have completed most of the photo interface. Now I'm trying to scan all of the photos I want from their negatives (going through my folder of 1000+ negatives, scanning them, noting date etc and adding them to a database) but this scanner is absolutely hopeless. Not only is it amazingly show, it's very unsharp and just can't handle a lot of my negatives and leaves behind masses of ugly artifacts.

Oh well, the new design is looking pretty good in general, if I do say so myself... it might be a while before I've scanned enough photos and finished everything off, though.
