The things I'll do for a Nintendo Wii.
I've been holed up in my apartment this Thanksgiving weekend. You see, Comedy Central is giving away a bunch of Nintendo Wii's in a few weeks. All I have to do is watch Comedy Central every hour and write down a code displayed on screen. I enter that code online and I'm in the drawing. The more codes I write, the better the chances.
I could be playing with my Wii in only a few weeks.
Besides that, I've been working, writing some, eating turkey. I've been having hassles upon hassles with switching banks. Oh, I lost my ATM card (nice one, huh?) so I haven't been able to spend as much money - but that's good. I took a walk through the ghetto last night. Not THAT ghetto but much more ghetto than where I live. That's what I've learned about L.A.: you can be walking through ghetto for miles and then suddenly you are in a glorious, expensive area. Odd.
I leave for Oakland on Thursday, thank God. I think all this mature, big-city dependence is making me lose my mind. It'll be nice to rest for a few days.
There has been a sore spot on my chest for the last few days. Wonder what that's about.
