Wedding post!

Venue
The Manor, Crickhowell
The room itself isn't that beautiful, but it looks fine when it's all set up, and the rest of the venue is stunning, not that I have any photos of it!

Rings
My engagement ring:
We bought wedding rings on Saturday. I've got a plain white gold 3mm one & Gary's got a 6mm palladium one!
Dress
Nothing like what I thought I wanted! I did NOT want a 'faffy' ruffley/sparkly dress, and I really wanted a long train. The woman pulled it off the rack and I didn't like the look of it at all! But as soon as I put it on, I loved it!
Bridesmaids
I'm having two, my sister and my best friend. Both wearing this dress, with some sort of silver strappy sandals, not matching cause my sister wants tall ones, and my BF doesn't!

Manthings
Gary & our best man both are wearing this waistcoat & tie, with dark grey tails.
Various dads [mine, his & his stepdad] and his younger brother are going to wear some sort of similar outfit. A dark grey tails with maybe an ivory waistcoat and purple tie? Idk.
Invites
After many variations, one of which we were going to just buy on the internet [I posted on here a while back], but then we decided we wanted to make them ourselves, so we decided on these:
This is just our prototype one - obviously the hearts will all be inline, and the words will both be in line lower down.
Some we might do with a silver variation!
The back!
Photography
We're still sorting this out. We booked a guy and paid our deposit and then a few weeks later he emailed us and said 'sorry but another couple have had to change their date, and it happens to be on your date, so sorry but I'm going to do their wedding instead of yours cause they booked first. I'll get someone else to do yours from the company.' Ummwat? I think not! They might have booked first, but surely our deposit books him for that day?! So we've asked [very nicely] for our deposit back, and now he's getting stroppy with us! Not impressed. We've got a friend who will do it for us for about £500 so that's ok!
Music
We've got to meet with him, but he's pretty much confirmed!
First dance will be Last Night On Earth by Green Day.
That's all we've sorted really!
Honeymoon
I can't remember the name of the hotel, but it's in Mexico on the Maya Riviera. It was recommended to us by one of Gary's workmates, so even though it's REALLY expensive, we decided to go for it anyway! It's an all inclusive, adults only, spa resort <3, :D
Other Things
Cake: Going to have cupcakes of some description. Probably lemon. Gary wants a 'giant' cupcake. I have informed him this would pretty much be a standard cake, but there we are!
Flowers: Gerberas. Or gerbera types. Big daisies. I'm having a bouquet, the girls are probably just going to have a nice bag each!
Centrepieces: Being done by the chair cover company. Gerbera heads in a bowl!
