Board call
AHHHHHHH I am back from the abyss. Ha yeah well maybe not the abyss but the drive up there kind of felt like we were going very darn close to it. Where was I the inquiring mind will ask. And I will tell you. DCON! Ha yeah it was in San Mateo this year. So much fun. The whole Division of Cal Nev and Ha was there, well most schools were represented at least. There was a fun opening session, then workshops. I learned how to be a Vice Pres.. And basically I am the presidents bitch who get no credit. Ha well, I am used to that so its all good ;-) wink. So then there was a dance (in which I don’t dance) and a place to play poker. Rock on, I was a rocken! I won stuff but long story, I never got my prizes but I did get a teddy bear from Kevin from grossmont. So I feel better. I got all pretty and then I totally had a hella fun table war. The drive back was awesome fun, we talked a lot about CK which made the time go by faster.
Before I wasn’t really thinking of going to ICON because I didn’t know if it was worth it. But now I am for sure going hopefully HA yeah, the people are great and how much fun would it be to hang with people from other states and accents ;-) wink again
School? Going ok, I am not spending as much time as I would like on it so I am not getting the best grades. I was never an A student. I am always a B, C student. I know that but sometimes it frustrates me when I study and know it but when the tests come, I blank and can word things and forget the answer until I am out of the room in which the answer just pops into my head.
Life? Life is good. Ha yeah..its all comparative. I am really excited about the new CK board thing. I have some fund raising ideas and service that will hopefully help us out. I just have to think organization! Which I am doing right now by downloading forms and making excel stuff. Great fun! Ahhh I love being all organized…It makes me feel better. To bad I cant put all this effort into school I will be as smart as I look
