What is it about love?
The falling,
the crawling,
the pain,
and strain,
over and distressed,
are we so helpless?

What is it about hate?
betrayed,
so afraid,
we fight,
with spite,
so bright,
it might,
never be the same,
are we insane?

What is it about faith?
to discriminate,
eradicate,
the hate,
convergence,
makes more sense,
than a hiss,
Would God want this?

What is it about life?
extensions,
retensions,
is it fun,
to hold the gun?
to be the one?
the son,
of death's angel,
What's your angle?

What is it about possessions?
our obsessions,
to oppressions,
follow sessions,
of lessons,
greed is a weed,
the seed,
to disaster,
is that what we're after?

What is it?
human nature?
or a sadder stature?
innate?
or deliberate?
our love of possessions,
standard digressions,
yet part of our hate of faith,
discrimination unsafe,
should we extend our life?
stab the earth with a knife?
to repair,
is a greater affair
