Panama City was amazing!!! I kinda wish I were still there but then again...I'd rather be here and with my baby instead. I went to Panama City just looking forward to having tons of fun. Yet, I did not expect to get closer to God. I broke down to the lowest of lows and when that happened, I looked to the heavens and God was there to pull me back onto my feet. I realize now how much I have needed God in my life. I plan on keeping God in my life for an eternity. Camp was fun and I'm definitely going back next year. The days were just perfect and the evenings were even better. I was a little saddened by how poorly the three tournaments ended up. My team lost in the first game of all three of the tournaments. We were winning 5-0 in volleyball and then we ended up losing 21-8. In basketball, Team WhiteBoy never even led. We lost that game 11-4. In flag football, Everything was going right until sarah Larson entered the game right after halftime. We were winning 14-0 at half but ended up losing 23-14. All was not lost though because there is something called Rec. All the cmapers were split up into 24 teams and we all competed against each other in many different games. My team, Superman, did really awesome. We were not in the Top 5 after Monday. In the standings we were 2-0-2 but we didn't have very many spirit points. Tuesday was Superman's best day. We posted the first perfect day ever in Rec. We went 3-0-0 and we got every single spirit point we could thanks in part to our team leader Rachel. She was in the shower Monday evening and thought of the perfect cheer. This is how it goes:

We're Superfast, we're Superfly
We'll beat you on the sand, and even in the sky
We're Superstrong, we're Supercool
We''ll beat you on the beach, even in the pool
We're Superwhat? we're Superwho?
We're Superman, that's how we do.

At the end where it says "That's how we do", we would brush our shoulders off and jump twice away from the shoulder we were brushing off. It looked so cool. So after Tuesday we were in 1st place by only one point. Wednesday was our worst day. We went 1-2-1 and we dropped from 1st to 4th. Thursday, we tried as hard as we could to win every game because we needed to if we were to win. Instead we went 2-1-1 and had to work for every point we got. Our final game, Rocks, was one of the most strategic games that we would play. Only 3 teams posted wins. It was a game of capture the flag and freeze tag. Yet, there wasn't a flag to be captured but playground balls. To win you would have to gather your opponents 8 balls and place them with your 8 to total 16 for a win. In our win, we just stood around for about 15 minutes before our fastest player Brett sprinted through all the girls and made it into the goal area where he was safe. Andrew, our 2nd fastest player, tried to get in the goal area but was tagged before getting there. All was not lost though because he was only tow feet away from Brett and Brett slid through his legs to unfreeze Andrew and Andrew jumped into the goal area. Brett stuffed 7 of the 8 balls in his pants while carrying the 8th ball. With about 3 minutes left to go in the game, Colin, Bryan, and I created a diversion that sprung Brett free and he crossed the middle line into our area and we won. It was so exciting. We ended up in 4th place overall with a record of 8-3-4. Not too shabby, but we should have been 11-2-2, but there's always next year. Thursday night was the best night of all. KJ-52 (pronounced "five two") came and partied with us and then we had our last night of worship. I don't believe that there was a dry eye in the place. While the band was onstage singing "Deliver Me", Chris Mayfield, out student minister, told us to pray outloud to God. It was so overwhelmingly powerful listening to everyone praying aloud. I prayed so hard that I was crying. Chase was crying too and we were just like brothers at that time. It was just so awesome and it made me realize how much of a role God plays in our lives. I will never forget that night nor will I forget that God is my Savior.

Lauren, baby I missed you so much. When I was alone I stared at your picture and thought about you. I love you so much and I wish that you could have been there with me. You're my everything baby. ~Ry
